Search-engine friendly with XHTML, SEFFP and Google Sitemaps

Overview

A lot of the website traffic today is coming from search engines (Google or Live). Xavio.cms is using the official Google Webmaster Guidelines to ensure the best possible search position.

 

Xavio.cms does the following to improve your search engine hit rating:

  • Creates valid XHTML 1.0 transitional, according to the w3c standard
  • Creates bulleted list sitemaps in XHTML
  • Takes full advantage of the title, li and heading-tags
  • No broken links thanks to virtual directories
  • Static page-naming with Search Engine Friendly Frontend Pages so that a page will be loaded from #pageid#.asp instead of default.asp?id=#pageid# making the website easier to crawl.
  • Thanks to robots.txt only the desired pages is indexed/crawled
  • Google Sitemap support so you easily can submit your xavio.cms sitemap to Google in the Google Webmaster Tools (Your sitemap can be found at www.your-domain.com/google_sitemap.asp?lanId=#n#, where #n# is the language ID (numeric))
